Hello, friend!!! I am an IT Professional with over ten years of progressive experience split between contract work and my personal ventures.
I posses strong problem-solving skills that have been honed through the repair and refurbishment of tens of thousands of computers, networking and audiovisual equipment. While initially I had focused my specialization on hardware and repair, in 2018 I began to challange myself in learning how computers work on a more fundamental level. Since then I have expanded my expertise into the realms of Linux System Administration, Networking, IT Security.

Serviced the DHS US Customs and Immigration Services Office of IT Headquarters and all associated sites to fulfill IT hardware, service and change orders for end users. Ensured that all projects complied with security policies and were supported with fully audit-able documentation. Procured large IT asset orders primarily from small minority and woman owned businesses in coordination with a variety of site personnel for logistics and delivery. Verified complex multi stage invoices and authorized major purchases on behalf of the organization, often totaling in the million dollar plus range.
Fielded escalated IT tier 2 help desk tickets for all levels of staff while operating onsite and remotely assisting a hybrid work force. Was solely responsible for working all onsite desktop support requests at the Booz Allen campus in Charlottesville, VA. Tracked and resolved IT support tickets through to completion, averaging around 5 requests closed daily. Coordinated with various IT suppliers for parts exchange and servicing for devices covered under warranty.
Independently obtained and refurbished used IT and audio visual equipment for sale on a variety of e-commerce platforms. Arranged bulk order deals with customers and consultation for businesses in the DC Metro area and abroad. Provided friendly assistance and follow up with device setup and configuration for all transactions.
Refurbished thousands of computers, IT networking and A/V equipment for sale pursuant to Responsible Recycling (R2) standards. Oversaw the initial processing of incoming materials at the main warehouse sorting area and researched projected value. Cataloged detailed recycled equipment reports for various universities, corporations and federal government clients located in the DMV area.
